I was born in Bogotá, Colombia, and moved to the United States at a young age. Growing up Bilingual in Spanish and English, and as a first-generation immigrant; shaped the way I see individuals, relationships, and resilience. From early on, I felt drawn to a profession that was centered on helping others. That calling eventually led me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
My path into this work is deeply personal. At nine years old, my parents' divorce which brought significant changes to our household dynamics. Roles and responsibilities had to change, weekends were spent at "my second home," and navigating parental alienation from both parents.
These life experiences have given me a profound understanding of what it is like to grow up in a broken home, to have a blended family, and what it takes now to work each and every day to have a "happy and successful" marriage.
I bring both professional training and lived experiences into the therapy room. I offer a compassionate and safe space where individuals and couples can slow down, make sense of what they’re experiencing, and move toward understanding, clarity, and connection.
It would be an honor to walk alongside you during this chapter of your life.
